Washing pillows, comforter, pillow cases, stuffed animals and mattress?
Five minutes ago I threw my Pillows, Comforter and Pillow Cases in the washing machine. I alo put in a few stuffed animals- two webkinz and one beanie baby. Is this safe for my pillows, comforter and the stuffed animals?
Also, how do I clean and disinfect my mattress? I sprayed it with the Febreeze….. but I'm not sure if that killed all the bacteria.

Definately way too much stuff in the washing machine. For the stuffed animals, you should put them in pillow cases and tie the pillow case closed. Wash them that way in the washer without anything else on a delicate cycle. You can put them in the dryer on a low heat setting for a short time or just let them air dry (out of the pillow case for air drying). That's how my mom always washed my stuffed animals, and they always stayed in good shape.

You threw that all in one machine at the same time? That is at least 3 loads to wash properly. You can vaccum your mattress with the upholstry attachment. Unless you've been ill, that should be sufficient.
